Full bodied and very tasty…A Belgian beer worth drinking. Pours a pretty golden color with tiny columns of rising bubbles. Thick and foamy white head with fair retention. Patches of lacing on the glass. The aroma is on the hoppy side and has a nice spiced undertone as well. Medium-bodied and spicy with hops and yeast flavors.

Bar snacks of Belgian Fries will be provided…..

8:20pm:  Konig Ludwig Weisbier from the Bavarian Oktoberfest…

Konig Ludwig is an imported Bavarian weiss beer from the Kaltenberg brewery (Schlossbrauerei), near Munich, which is owned and run by Prince Regent Luitpold. König Ludwig is golden in colour and has a naturally cloudy appearance derived from the special Bavarian Brewers yeast. It has a nice balanced flavour, with malty overtones and an aroma reminiscent of apples and bananas. The stimulating fruity experiences leave you with an unmistakably fruity tingle in the mouth.

This Weisbier will be accompanied by German style Miri Sausages (not pork).

8.40pm: Duvel worship

There is a handful of great beers in the world, and depending on the particular occasion and mood, Duvel is at, or very near, the top. Duvel pours better than any beer in the world. If you want to see what a perfect head on a beer looks like, this is the gold-standard.  Thick, white, foamy and long-lasting. It doesn’t get any better than this……
